Permission System
This starter page defines the access model for Pulse Check. Later, we can connect this to Supabase profiles, roles, and row-level security policies.
Role Definitions
Owner
Full access to all Pulse Check administrative tools.
Admin
Can manage day-to-day application operations.
Family Contact
Trusted contact with limited access to shared safety status.
User
Standard Pulse Check account holder.
Recommended Security Rules
Only Owner/Admin roles should access admin, users, audit, backups, roles, and system pages.
Family contacts should only see information explicitly shared with them.
Standard users should only access their own check-ins, contacts, alerts, and settings.
Important admin actions should be recorded in a dedicated audit log.
